I have them in pink, blue, purple, and black, and each one has lasted me years. I get them dirty and wet on a daily basis, they get hot, they get cold, and they keep on working and rarely need a new battery even. I finally retired my last two when my new kittens chewed BOTH wristbands off in a matter of two days! <br /> <br />So as long as you keep these away from feisty kittens, you should enjoy these watches for a long time. They aren't the prettiest things ever, but they have a sporty and slim look that is appealing, and the thinness of the watch head and the band are both elements that are hard to find in an inexpensive watch. However, I really like it. It's very cute, somewhat petite but easy to read. The silver surrounding the face adds a nice touch without looking cheap. The face is a soft, pearly pink while the band is a slightly translucent, matte pink. Think this would be a great high school graduation gift. Don't know yet how sturdy this watch is but have had Armitron's in the past and they held up well and were waterproof in pools. Eventually the whole's in my band fell through so I can't wear it anymore. I swam in it every week and it's color has never faded and it has always kept on going.
